03 March Public Holiday?

Hello again all. I was reading through old posts and found something about the 3rd of March being a public holiday and therefore not to go to Bansko then as the place is packed with locals and therefore massive queues etc. Can anyone offer any advise on this?

I was in Pamaps last year for it and its no busier than going in January.... do not let it put you off, its only a weekend the rest of the week is as normal

Was in bansko last year on that date yes the gondla at the begining of the day was realy busy, we didnt get up the mountain until 11am despite being there at 8.30 although had to buy our lift pass and the que was unreal, next day which was the monday got to the lifts for about 8 straight up no problems. the slopes werent that bad though
