1 time skiers

Can we take any local currency into country? If not where for best rates of exchange? Any duty free at Plovdiv airport and how much 200 fags? Staying Pamporova Hotel end of March whats it like? What time is sunset then?

Hi Anne & Eric,
Lots of questions, lets answer them for you.

1 You can take local currency in if you have it.
2 The hotels will change your money for you (last year 2.85 - £) some bars may change at a higher rate, best thing to do is chage a bit at a time.
3 Plovdiv does have a tiny duty free shop.
4 Fags: buy "victory" ciggs local brand like our Rothmans but 40p a pack!
5 Pamporova Hotel is a couple of years old and is spot on.

Don't be fooled into thinking that the Benson & Hedges, Lambert & Butler etc. are the real thing because they are not. The packaging looks very authentic but you will be coughing your preverbials up after a couple of packets. The are nothing more than cheap copies.

If you want cheap fags then buy the local brand of Victory. About £3 for 200 and they are as good as anthing else you can buy there.

Sunset is around 5pm.
