going to rila on sat. how much for a decent meal and were is best to eat there is 7 in our party.

The best place we found was the Green King, a friendly family-owned place near the Gondola and Pete's Bar with delicious Bulgarian food. They have soups, salads and light bites for lunch (4-6 lev) and evening meals are 10-13 lev. I would recommend the "Kebap in Pot" which is (your choice of) meat in a nice sauce in a boat-shaped dish with flames all around it! Also the "Mish-mash" (eggs and vegetables) or the Moshka salad (traditional vegetables and feta cheese). The owner explains the whole ...

Gary Get out of the resort and go to Samokov. Get a taxi driver to take you to The Old House,Peroni or Sonata. A third of the price of Borovets and far superior taste! Steve
