15th march !

think i might have left it too late to go this year.
last went in january a few years ago and was told by some of the instructors that march was the best time to come, good snow and not too many people.

hmmm, not getting there till the 15th.
chances of good snow looking weak... Crying

Usually substantial fall around mid March - even last year. We usually go towards end of March and have always had good snow. It is warmer so can get slushy on lower slopes late afternoon. Top lasts usually until end of April. Very Happy

is there snow on the slopes in front of the Rila hotel ?

Yes but not too good at the moment. Snow cannons are being used but only effective if cold enough at night.

They're still night skiing outside the Rila slope - now on Just Borovets web cam
