16 virgin skiers

4 families - 8 fortysomethings & 8 early teens.
Firts time skiing - borovets in feb (stayling at Rila)
Kids want to know if you can buy/hire sledges - if they get fed up of falling over.
Thankful for any general info - Ta guys !

Last year I saw people hiring slegdes, on the black slope to the left of the Rila. Have fun

Loads of places sell plastic bum boards, which are a great laugh. Some tour companies do a sledging night as an apres ski thing.

We are taking a dumper truck inner tube this year, which should be a real laugh !!!

i've skiied in france,italy and bulgaria,but am going back to borovets for third time,simply because there's absolutely loads going on.my mum goes and she doesn't even ski.loads of sledging,night skiing,bowling,iceskating and shopping!have fun.

You can hire sledges by the black run (with steering and brakes) for 5 lev 1 hr 0r 3 lev 1/2 hr. Great fun for all the family.
