17th Jan

Any1 going 2 Borovets flying from Manchester on the 17th??
My wife and I are beginning 2 get excited now. Its our 1st time, we are stopping in the Rila which by the sounds of it is not 2 bad and very central.
Any advice on what Currency 2 take would be appreciated, also on our tickets Airtours have requested we get there 3 hours before our flight time which is 12:45 I think, any1 know why its changed from 2 hours??
Any other advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Alan

re: 17th Jan

take €.
Visit the Rila monastery and Bansko, if you have the occasion. Plovdiv merits a visit too. In fact there are so many places that merit ... all around - you'll have for next time
You will enjoy;-)

The reason for the extra hour. Have you seen the news in the last 12 months
Just be glad your not on a BA flight from the states.
Take sterling with you and only change at the hotels or in the Banks NOT in the street.
There is an ATM behind the pod lift for more cash but always get a reciept.
Credit cards are not much use in Bulgaria.
Eat out every night food in the Rila is poor.
Try Franco's pizza, the Golden Horn, white magic the Golden fish etc.....
Buzz bar for buy 1 get 1 free on ...
