1st time ski tips?

Hi everyone

Well, our first time skiiing is nearly here!!
We travel on the 7th Jan, sheffield to bansko, and are stopping in the hotel perun.
Weve got everything sorted for when we're there, ie, lift pass, tuition, ski hire etc.
Just wondering if any of you more exerienced guys can pass on any tips for us to consider??
Would really appreciate it!

The main thing is, have fun! Dont be too nervous and dont be afraid of falling over (its all part of the process and the fun!!).

best tip is do as the instructor says, and dont have too much

Hi,

yeah more of the same. in the first few days you will probably be falling over quite a bit, but thats all the fun. if its your first time, then the first few days will be finding you feet, but be asured, by the last few days, you will have hopefully picked it up and be skiing well!!

Enjoy both day and night, thats what skiing is all about!

just relax and dont try what you see others do
and remember the differecnce between the ankles and the knees

Best tip is to do what the instrucor says for the first day then do what you like, copy others if you wish but most of all dont buy expensive gear when you can get it out there much cheaper with the same quality.
Oh and make sure you have plenty of dutch courage .
If you have a controlled fall into them snobs with all the best kit dont worry as they probably cant ski anyway.
