at night i found a jumper with ur ski jacket over top.because the bars a quite warm, just take ur jacket for walking around. i also found that trainers were abit slippery at night, so try to take some boots or something with grip
Slopes just your normal stuff waterproof pants jacket some warm gloves, its wise to take goggles in case its snowing heavily. At night flat boots are probably best i normally wear knee high flat n furry, ski socks underneath as it gets very cold. If you dont want to wear your day jacket on a night then take a warm coat for the evenings and probably jumpers. The bars and restaurants are normally very well heated so you will be ok when your inside. I personally get very warm when boarding ...

I personally get very warm when boarding so i tend to wear a t shirt and hoodie under my jacket no thermals as i get too warm. I also tend to take a small back pack so i can shove the hoodie i it when i get too warm.
Knee and elbow pads, bum protection (a must), Although I learnt snowboarding without all that I would not want to go through it again without protection
I second Audrey's comment - impact shorts are a must if you are learning! I spent a sizeable amount of time on my arse and knees and was glad of knee protectors too, but then I've got problematic knees anyhow! You'll love it!!
