At the Beeb we'll all be doing the 2 mins - all programming suspended except cbeebies. All training courses stop.Lots of respect for Heathrow Airport who are stopping take off and landings for 5 mins

We have been told by the boss that it is up to the individual where they wish to observe the 2 mins silence. I shall go outside at our main entrance as I know that Ken Livingstone is keen for all Londoners to get onto the streets as a mark of defiance to the bombers.re: 2 mins silence at 12.00
That was amazing.For 2 mins London went totally silent. Couldn't hear a sound round the City usually so bustling and noisy.
