re: 2 way radios

Get ones that have a long range - 8 miles min.

E Bay is a good place to start looking.

re: 2 way radios

We bought some Motorola ones on ebay which have an 18 mile range on high power and only cost £30 including the postage.

The only thing to be careful of is that it is illegal to use them on high power in Bulgaria Wink

Yes, got them from a company called Webtronics in the USA. They only took 5 days to get here.

The radios were great. I used them in pamps in March and was able to contact my wife in the Orlevetz when I was at the mid-station.

re: 2 way radios

i have some they have 240 channels and miles and miles of range. i would deff recomend getting some but you have to pay more than £5. you need to make sure that they have more than 8 channels as you will have the problem that you are not the only ones on that channel. on my walkie talkie i was talking from the top of the gondla lift to the rila hotel with no problems.
