I’ve Been to Borovets twice.
In 2003 we stayed in the Iglika. The hotel was great but I wasn’t too keen on the walk to the Gondola as our Ski Depot was on the slopes out side the Rila. OK in normal footwear but not too good in Ski Boots as it was very icy on the road all week.

In 2004 we stayed in the Ela which is about fifty metres from the Gondola, and our Ski Depot was just behind the bottom station. The Ela is OK, but the evening meal did not look to good. We took one ...

In 2004 we stayed in the Ela which is about fifty metres from the Gondola, and our Ski Depot was just behind the bottom station. The Ela is OK, but the evening meal did not look to good. We took one look and ate out all week. The other gripe was that the duvets don’t fit the double bed, they are too small.

In 2005 we have booked to stay in the Mura. This is a bit further from the Gondola but the Ski Depot is actually in the bottom station building. That means minimum walking in ski boots. The reason for choosing the Mura was other people we met and skied with stayed there this year and have booked to go back in 2005. I always say a place can’t be too bad if you go back.
