Well I heard something along the lines of 'its giong to be a very long, cold winter, the worst winter for years' recently...

But given that they also said that the summer just gone was going to be the hottest summer ever, I think we could well expect there to be sunny afternoons by the pool with a BBQ for all of the ski season, not just the 19th of March!

Sensible question.
The last beer I bought in Bansko in July was 0.80 Lev. The last beer I bought in March was 3.0 Lev.

I remember the local beer was ok, and much cheaper than all the export stuff, 'kamenitza' I think it was.

Even 3.0 Lev is pretty cheap really.

Silly me did believe them about the summer. But as I have to work out in it 10hrs a day, I was glad it never came. Pretty pathetic for an Aussie.

Bring on the long cold winter though.
