2007 season

2007 season

Was in Pamps in January this year and whilst it hardly snowed the skiing for us was just about ok. Only 2 snow cannons also.

Looking at Bansko this year could anyone tell me why there was better skiing there? Is there more snow cannons? Also Bansko isnt as high as Pamps.

The town of Bansko is not as high, but the slopes are higher than Pamps. Bansko is connected to the slopes via cable car.

the best snow was in Borovets this year, mainly due to a good grounding up high in early November.

Bansko ski slopes do go higher than Pamps

Slopes much higher than Pamps and more cannons. Done Pamporovo 5 times and Bansko once this year. Bansko is better although I love Pamps. better slopes much wider and longer and a good village with loads of local mehanas to eat wich you don't get in Pamps.

Just booked it. 2 adults and 3 kids for Bansko on 23rd Febuary. Now its beg,borrow and steal ski stuff for the kids.

Will start the snow dance at the start of Febuary!!

how old are the kids have a ski suit worn one week now to small for mine not sure of the size think it was an age 10 years but would need to check

12,12 and 14yrs. All quite tall as well. Thankyou anyway. Ive started pulling in favours already so hope to be ok!

it is a good time to pick up ,nearly new gear in charity shops its ideal both for adults and kids,ask in the shops as many of them hold this stock in there stockroom until winter
