Yes snow is obviously essential for a skiing/boarding holiday but in case you hadn't noticed, 99% of people are coming back having had an amazing time, and skiid or boarded every day despite poorer conditions.
There were a few sketchy weeks, especially in Pamps and they have put some people off ...

I agree there is a risk with booking early but there are also benefits of better pricing. It is a risk but you're pretty much safe if it's end of Jan onwards
