re: 2012

Alex if that was common knowledge we would all book the same week!

The only advise I can give you is that early March has had the best snowfall for the past 3 years.

A little tip - if you select the web cam pics you can go back many years so you can physically see when it snowed so as to build up some sort of historic best time - However that may mean nothing going forwards.

Id sugest you look at when is on average the coldest time of the year which months thats the first port of call (I'd guess mid Jan to mid Mar).

Of course you may also have work restrictions on when you or your partner can go - and then you need to take into consideration the ...

Of course you may also have work restrictions on when you or your partner can go - and then you need to take into consideration the costs of different weeks in that "goldielock zone" ie do you really want to be there over Half term week paying notably more for flights accomodation and lift passes + a full resort.

Personally Im very restricted and can only go during school hols as such for me skiing is End Dec, Feb half term and Easter (although easter in 2011 is very late and the lifts shut).

re: 2012

I blame the Arabs, what on earth are they think about building a snow dome that big in Dubai, quite clearly they went to Bulgaria and bought all the snow up from there for it.

The sooner there is no oil left the better off we will be, i.e. no more global warming, = more snow, simple's. traveling to and from resorts could be a problem but we could form a think tank, Any ideas out there would be wecome !!!!! give you something to do in the summer??

Id say fewer flights will cause global temp rise as currently the trails they lave reflect a notable amount of heat radiation. Which was fully measured in the USA following 9/11 and it was alarming by how much it rose on like for like days.
