Easy Jet have now also released their winter flight schedule. As anticipated, it is pricey for half term week so those families restricted to school holidays its not great. Also worth considering flights with BA and Lufthansa - possibly via Frankfurt. Air France also do some half decent flights to Istanbul and there are plenty of flights from Istanbul to Sofia - it might mean a stop over somewhere but a day in Istanbul could make quite an interesting addition to a half term holiday ...

Keep trawling and dont give up!!
Been using Lufhansa for a few years now. It's always worked for me. Might be a bit late to get the cheapest deals for 1/2 term now with them though unless they release some more seats as they were nearly fully booked several weeks ago. I looked at air Turkey this time along with Air France, KLM and Alitalia, didn't fancy the 20hr stop over. Going direct next year, Air Bulgaria 1/2 the price of B.A at time of booking and not much more than Lufthansa at that time so going with the BG option ...

Stansted to Plovdiv I assume ?
How much longer is the transfers from Plovdiv as would consider this route for 2015
No, Easy Jet only fly to Sofia. The only airline to fly to Plovdiv is Ryan Air. Plovdiv is closer to Pamporovo than Sofia so a much shorter transfer if going to Pamporovo. its about 1.5 hours to Pamporovo. Not sure about transfer time to Bansko or Borovets. I'll let someone else advise there.
