Goggles with a yellow or light orange lense (double lensed) and a pair of very warm gloves or mitts are a must in such conditions!

A snowboard's usually good too
But yeah you definantely want goggles. Also try and avoid open areas as you eyes will find it hard to pick out definition. Runs through trees are usually good ones to help you make out the terrain clearly.
