Just been on the BA website - was going @ 5.00pm - now cancelled - assume apart from the probs @ Heathrow has something to do with the fog in Sofia......re: New Terminal news..
Bulgaria Air Starts Flying From Sofia's New Terminal
Business: 21 December 2006, Thursday.
Flag carrier Bulgaria Air announced Thursday that they will start flying from the new terminal of Sofia Airport as of December 28.
The terminal is expected to open December 27, and it will start servicing Bulgaria Air flights the next day.
Flights FB1000 to FB1999 will be the only ones still taking off from the old terminal, as those are operated by partner airlines and Bulgaria Air only offers ...

think its to do with fog here, they have cancelled a lot of flights today plus lots of delays so has a knock on effect, have you been offered anything else or is it a no go?re: 22nd Heathrow to Sofia cancelled
We are actually due to take this flight on Saturday so atleast we have still got a chance - not looking too good though. I have just checked the status for today's flight on the BAA website (via sky) and it's saying it's still scheduled.....!!! Delays I can cope with - if a flights cancelled there's no way they are going to be able to rebook you is there ?re: 22nd Heathrow to Sofia cancelled
If as you say everything is all lined up, have you thought of using the B.A. flight from Gatwick to Varna then arrange onward transport. Also Bulgarian Air have a daily flight out of Gatwick to Varna. Cheers ttonyre: 22nd Heathrow to Sofia cancelled
