Got back from Borovets on Saturday and had a great time, will write some more later when I have time. Not only did they fail to realise I had broken my wrist, but completely fleeced me for 563 levs for 4 x-rays (3 of which were useless), various medical examninations and a 'consultants examination' which consisted of the blokes mate coming in to look at my x-rays and scratching his chin (cost 200 levs).
I was staying at the Samakov and went to see the doctor the next day (it was 8pm when I went to the medical center, thinking the on call doctor from the Samaokov would be there) and he informed me that I had a broken wrist and the people at the 24 hour place weren't even doctors. I then had to pay for the x-rays and documents from the 24 hour place and take them to the doctor so hecould deal with the insurance people.
So please, if you have a problem get the on call doctor form your hotel, don't go to a 24 hour medical center.
Just had to reply to you. YES I am a doctor and my little friend was a wrist specialist. If you are not happy with the service I gave you, come and have a go if you think your hard enough.
