25th Anniversary

Pete's post about skiing destinations got me thinking, it was 25 years ago this year that I first put a couple of planks of wood on my feet and headed downhill in varying degrees of control in the Cairngorms. 2008 will also make another 25th anniversary that was my first skiing holiday abroad in Austria with some mates. Back then the skiing got in the way of the apres ski but now it is the other way round.

When I did my first trip to Austria I was living in Aberdeen, we caught the train to London which took 9 hours and then it was 24 hours on a bus to Alps.
