27th Jan 2007 - Borovets - Here we come

I have skied for 4 years and the snow has never yet let me down. I have every faith that lots of the white stuff from the sky will fall by then.

Anyone else going out to Borovets on 27th January 2007 to enjoy the snow with me?

yes i think we will be lucky and bulgaria is saving its snow for the 27!!

There will be so much snow we wont be able to tell a groomed piste to off-piste!!!

having to stop skiing because of the blizzard like conditions is the only concern!!!

I am off on the 27th also - flying from Cardiff @ 08.30 hrs, staying at the Iglika Hotel. 4 of us travelling myself, Paula (my partner) and my sis and her b/f. I am the only one to have skied (this is my 5th time - last hol was 2002 Andorra) Anyone else booked with Balkan and also booked the ski pack as the other 3 have booked the learn to ski pack?? - if so drop me a mail!!

Otherwise will see you all for a drink - lets have it!!!!

WERW SUPPOSED TO BE FLYING FROM BRISTOL BUT AT THE MOMENT CARDIFF IS JUST AS LIKELY, WHO COULD HAVE IMAGINED THAT HAVING A RUNWAY THAT DOES NOT WORK IN THE RAIN COULD BE A PROBLEM DURING A BRITISH WINTER!111

I am not sure, but i seem to recall when we booked there was talk of us flying from Cardiff and picking up in Birmingham on route - anybody shed some light on this???

We're flying from Cardiff on 27th too!!! Yes we Def have to drop down in Birmingham en route (it's a pain but at least it saves us having to go by car!!!)

Staying at the Rila. 6 Adults, 2 kids & 2 Teens.

We went to the same hotel on Boxing day last year with a gang of friends but had to fly from Gatwick then!! Thought the snow would be better if we left it a bit later this year but doesn't look too good at the mo!!!

Hey guys,

Just booked up today for Borovets, Hotel Rizla or something like that. Has anyone ever stayed here? What's it like? It looked canny good in the brochure. I just hope there's enough snow, flying out on the 3rd March.
