anyone flying from manchester on the 27th jan? we are staying in the samakov, stayed there many times before the food is rubbish, but its the sane all over, we eat in the white magic. also enjoy having a drink in the mannagers bar,

Im flying from Manc that day...going to Borovets...going to Samokav Spot on. Glad I know of someone else from this site who is going the same day. Look out for me at the airport - I'll be the one wearing a full set of ski gear on the plane (in attemt to make my luggage lighter!!)
I presume we would be on the same flight (only 1 per day???) the flight it terminal 2 around 3pm'ish

yes thats right about 3ish.Look for us there will be 4 of us hubby , daughter , me and daughters boyfriend, in the bar . lol. have you been before?

will keep an eye out. I will be holding a red rose whilst pretending to read a newspaper with cut outs in it. He he.
No, not been before. My GF has been skiing before, but not Bulgaria, so we are both really excited.
Will listen for your name on the coach.
Have u got a ski pack. We're on the beginners pack even though GF can ski (decided to go on that so she can be with me during the day...arr, must be love!)

lol,.hubby can ski . daughter can ski, me...... well lets put it like this........ sort of.......... lol , daughters boyfriend never been before, to be honest with ya, ive been loads of times but only skied once, i had private lessons with laura from the white magic , she must be good to convince me to put thoose skies on.

suer u'll be fine. Take it u wont be on the beginners pack then
You'll have to walk around with a big sign saying "jon, I'm then one you were talking to about looking out for" written on it
he he, if I dont see u, have a great time. If I do, I'll get u and family a drink at a bar (providing its happy hour, lol!)

ok will keep u to that.are u staying in the samakov?if you are its a nice hotel but the food is rubbish , although there is plenty of places to eat, enjoy your skiing, .

yer, staying in samo (cant spell it)
got half board, so will give it a try on 1st night
if its cr4p, then will move outside for meals

hey i just came back from borovets yesterday, i stayed at samokov n it was not good food at all, not to our taste any way. i do seriously recommend a place called katy's ( steak house ) the steaks there were to die for, that is situatated right next to hotel. also if u venture past the rila hotel near the nursery slopes you will see a place called titanic. the food there was also really nice.
