1. This is my first year with my own boots (psychological thing!). Previously I have always left my hire boots at the ski depot along with the skis. Now I have my own, does one tend to carry them around or is it safe to leave them in the same place? Off to Pamps 24th Jan, Perelik.
1. This is my first year with my own boots (psychological thing!). Previously I have always left my hire boots at the ski depot along with the skis. Now I have my own, does one tend to carry them around or is it safe to leave them in the same place? Every year I have lost or burnt something in Markony so don't trust myself getting them home safely after 6 pints.
2. Anyone who has a map, can they point out where 'the wall' is. I haven't strayed off a green slope yet, but with my my new boots, I am sure there is nothing that can stand in my way now!!
3. My mate is a snowboarder. I have told him about the new half-pipe. Although unsure if it is fully working yet, could anyone with the map point out where it is. I will not be visiting the half-pipe myself, even with my new boots as shiny as they are!
The wall ends at the-mid station (off the one or three man lift).
I'm an annoying intermediate that wants to ski faster than safe! Try taking the tee bar from the mid-station and ski off when as high as you dare!
Hi Mike. Would that be number 2 (circled) on the map? The T-bar sounds a good option. Or why not go the whole hog and leave my buckle off while on the bunjee!!
Pete, thanks for the map. I have emailed you back a better format!
I would still be very grateful if you could arrange for ambu-copter to be around if I get Astika'd enough to attempt it!!
