Bulgaria Ski discussion board

3 weeks to go

Flying to Bulgaria 28 Feb Borovets-hotel rilla sport. Never been before though have skied 6 times. fancy snowboarding as the resort is good for beginners-im 33 yrs old will I manage it? our kids are coming 2 one is 8 other 6 both can ski. Is anyone else going with simular ideas?

Yeah do it! Become a convert. Dump the skis
I taught myself to board 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since.
Boro is great for beginners, loads of instructors and the green slopes are great (if a bit crowded).
My mates (both skiers) tried boarding for the 1st time when we went to Boro in January and by the third day they were coming down to the mid station with us (you'll see) and they're only a couple of years younger than you, so no fear!

sure you'll have a great time and the kids will love the pool in the rila. Lets all hope we get some fresh snow for that week....When you thinking of going? and why not try Borovets? i promise you its brill [] I'm about to book but am gonna have to pay £70 single suplement unless i can find some one else who fancies it. Flying from Gatwick... c ya there.

just got back from the rila, not a bad hotel, but watch the food!!!
