Hey 6 of us arriving on 31st March. Hope there's snow for us beginners in our group.PS whats a gondola? am a complete novice but my kids aged 17 and 19 have promised to teach me!

a gondola is the little orange thing thats gets you to the top of the mountain opposite the Samokov where your find the best snow, i just got back on the 17th march and had a great time. It takes max 6 people at a time and your ski's / snowboards go on the outside with you on the inside. There are also chair lifts and drag lifts out there.
Your be skiing up the gondola as the nursery slopes had no snow im afraid but your be fine. If your hotel food is not up to much i would recommend katy's ...

If your hotel food is not up to much i would recommend katy's restaurant opposite the Samokov its a brown chalet place and the food is excellent and its only 98 pence a pint. Also right on the end of the resort past the happy duck is an indian great food, our ski instructors wife actually owned it, very cheap as well. Dont go to the chinese the Red Dragon we heard very bad reports and it rips you off. Also Joy by the Gondola is a great place to eat as well. Have a great time im jealous
