3rd Feb to Pamps

I've just had to change my holiday dates from the 20th of January to the 3rd of February because my employers were going to honour my time but not pay me for it despite my new contract!

I'm gutted because I was really looking forward to skiing in January but now I'll have to wait.

Anybody know from history if snow is good in Feb?
Also, anyone going on the 3rd of Feb and skiing alone need a buddy as my wife doesn't ski?

Not to sure about the snow in Feb Graham but It looks like it's shaping up for a good season, me and a mate are out to pamps on the 2nd Feb staying at the perelik, yur more than welcome to ski with us, were only rookies but BOY O BOY WE CAN HAVE A GOOD DRINK !! Very Happy Booze Booze

Cheers Mark I may well take you up on that offer.
I've just bought some twin tippers so I'll be taking it easy for the first day or 2.
Not sure how many days I'll be skiing yet because my wife wants to spend time with me too... How inconsiderate!!! If there's good snow I'll be fighting for 5 days, however I think she's trying to push me to 4... Sad
I'm looking forward to getting some drinking done though! We're staying at the Hotel Pamporovo. Is it just you and your mate or are you ...

We went to Pamp last year at begining of Feb and despite it being a bad year for snow it snowed the day we arrived and the next day so was enough for the week. Although the green run wasn't very good towards the end of the week, we got the lift back down.

Been twice in Early Feb 05 and Feb 06 and both times were excellent, last year 07 was abnormal everywhere.

I think I'm just panicing after last year. But like you say Alpine Angel last year was abnormal.

Flying from Edinburgh. Not sure if we're stopping off anywhere to pick up more people though, then will be staying at the Hotel Pamporovo.
Is our week just before English half-term? Hope it's not too busy!!

Graham,
No partners this year, took em last year and they did'nt like ski-ing to much, so their staying at home (good) so it's just me and my mate (happy days) we stayed at the pamporovo last year it was fantastic, you and your wife will love it there.

I'd read some mixed reviews but I'm not worried now because I've heard so many good reports.
My wife isn't skiing but she's going for the spa treatments and probably the apre ski too!!! Booze

Really looking forward to getting away now. May even be able to get a day on the slopes here before I go now!! BONUS!!!
