re: 8 Hour Delay

Inghams took the decision to divert a couple of Monach flights due to a wee bit of fog...it was sunny and hot in boro which is not far away!

after a 7 hour bus trip we ended up somewhere random and arrived home well late.

cheers inghams - nice end to the holiday

re: 8 Hour Delay

Just back from Borovets and stayed in the Rila studios. They were clean and warm but the food is not very good, we ate out most nights. The Happy Duck does good food and the atmosphere for kids and adults is great. Titanic bar is good for snacks and drinks and the pizzas in the bar across from the Rila are to die for, think the bar is called Falcon. The pizzas are cooked in a stone oven outside, garlic bread was also great, kids loved it.
Have fun.

re: 8 Hour Delay

We were in the Rila when news of the delays started spreading through the reception area - We were travelling to Manchester from Sofia with Neilson and were worried we would have to endure the 6 hour coach trip to a different airport - luckily out flight took off at 8pm with not a cloud in the sky or delay in sight. It makes you wonder why on earth the other manchester flight could not set off from Sofia also? I felt extremely sorry for the other people........

re: 8 Hour Delay

How can you possibly believe that a travel company whichever it is,can take a descision to divert a flight!?
That descision can oly be made by Monarch airlines,so why don t you blame them?I think the Inghams reps were lovely and handled the situation perfectly!
