A man lives on the 24th floor in a block of flats. One morning he goes off to work, it’s a lovely sunny day and he's in a good mood for the day. He gets in the lift goes down and off to work for the day and returns home, gets in the lift, gets out at the 12th floor and walks the rest of the way up to his apartment. The following day its pouring with rain but off he goes to work as usual. He returns home at the end of the day, gets in the lift and goes straight up to the 24th floor.
