A little help deciding

To the people that have been to Bankso/borvets before. I am looking at going there in the Feb 09 season, for about a week, but am unsure of which resort is better and what places to stay at, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I am a medium to experienced snow boarder wanting apartment stlye accommodation 3* would be good but if you know of something that is cheap and tidy that would also be good.

Hi Adrian..
If you are a boarder (im going to hate myself for this ) it has to be Bansko. Access is better, the lift system is better, possibly even the piste (wider so i can avoid you). And you mention wanting 3* apartment, well, Bansko has a few (about 2000 currently empty)....
Search the net, you will find private renters, book sleezyjet or squeezeair (wizzair), sort transfer (ehem) and you are away, could be a cheapy...

Or even hire a car. Prices from around €12 a day with some hirers

personally i wouldnt recommend hiring a car if your on wintr holiday, too much hassle and you wont use it much, what with the roads the BG drivers and the parking and theft, best forget it, stick with taxis then you can have beer or two as well
