ADVICE REQUIRED

Just exchanged some sterling for lev. Got 2.83 to the pound. Is this a fair rate or would I be better bringing the rest of my money in sterling and changing it in Pamporovo?

re: ADVICE REQUIRED

yes taking it to Pamps i is the best way, but 2.83 is very good, i would always recomend taking a bit in the local currency what ever country you visit, you get to the bar quicker Very Happy Booze

re: ADVICE REQUIRED

Stop worrying about exchange rates. Confused

The diference between 2.76 and 2.83 is 7 stostikies - in other words - 2p.

Everything is so cheap anyway in Bulgaria that is simple not even worth the effort to get a few stinkies more.

re: ADVICE REQUIRED

Take cash for emergency exchange in case the atm is out of order. Atm's give best rate of exchange and you only need to take out as much as youn eed when you need it.

I usually take a few pounds worth of leva ith me to get started on first night.

Have a good trip.
