Its that time of year, ALDI have their stock in but it will no doubt go fast. Its not the best quality but perfectly adequate and the prices are very good, if you are new to skiing and not sure yet its worth considering, you can always gradually replace it in the future.

Hi Don,Have to agree.....2 seasons ago we were in the Uk when the Aldi ski gear came in and bought some for Bobo and his cousin Krissy - was perfect for the season. This year, we went to the UK earlier, so we picked up some Lidl ski gear - no full sets, but all the under-garments and childrens boots - Bobo and Krissy are already wearing theirs!!!! BUT it was -4 this morning when Bobo went to school!

Just went to aldi to buy some soft shell sallopets and they told me they had sold out they were realy busy today selling it (boo hoo)

N&J, you may want to try MandMdirect.com, UK based company selling fashion and sports, they have some bargains at the mo, some are quality brands like HH and Berghaus.Don

Check out TK MAXX for ski wear its pretty hit and miss but good quality stuff at a good price.

whent to some shops to buy ski jacket and trouser. my first ski holiday. SO confusing. different varieties waterproof specification can be 3000, 4000, 5000, 10000. similar spec for breathable factor. which one is the minimum spec i should buy. also, some have recco reflectors and some dont. does that matter and can we put reflectors ourselves?? thanks

Kitted myself and my 16yr old out for our first skiing trip for under £150 at Aldi this week.........bargain
