ARINSAL - Advice please - anyone been?

Hey folks
Got a chance of going to Arinsal (Andorra) this weekend (for peanuts) - one of my pals has had to drop out - has anyone been? what's it like? what's thejourney time from the airport to the resort etc...
What level of skiier would you pitch it at?

I haven't been for a while, but if I remember it's OK for beginners. You can always catch the skibus to nearby Pal, which is pretty good and looking at the piste maps there are a lot more runs. The journey is a bit of a bummer, it's about a 4 hours trip, stopping halfway for a beer/break, you go through Pasa de la casa, soldeu and then onto Arinsal, it's the last stop.

If it's for peanuts, then I would go, just to catch the last of the snow. Have fun

Thanks Cowgirl ~ had a feeling that the transfer would be a bit of a drag - but we skiiers just get on with things like that don't we?

I went in 2002 as cowgirl say's killer transfer time not to bad a place for skiing though great for intermediate's. Have fun

When you get back, let me know what it's like as I've taken the plunge and am off to Arinsal next year

just been to pal-Arinsal and it great it was very hot
the snow was little slush at the end of the week but there is 5cm of snow tonight and temp down to -5 oC for rest of week
