Just back from a week in Boro, and it would appear that the ATM's have a problem accepting cards with chip and pin.
None of my 3 cards worked, although those that had just the old fashioned mag strip on (not both) seemed to work ok.
No real worries, as the change kiosks took them ok, but it meant that you needed to plan ahead to make sure you had enough money to last the night, and also you had to carry your passport about with you for ID at the kiosk. Banks were ok as well, but ...

Banks were ok as well, but charged 10% commission as opposed to 5% in the kiosk.
