ATM Machines -pamps

Just to let people know who have not been yet this year, I got 200 lev out of an ATM at the Perelik as I missed the hotel reception and wanted to buy my wife a pair of ski boots, that were 239 Lev (Hotel rate of exchange 2.6L to £.)

To my surprise I have just had the switch/maestro bill through, and 200 Levs works out at £73.80 I work that out at 2.71Lev to £.

Pretty good me thinks, it only cost me just under £90 for a decent pair of Rossignol Ladies Ski Boots

we got 2.77 from the same cash machine, exchange was 2.66 at the bank that day

The good exchange rate is because, the rate is set by your credit card company or UK bank. Not a bulgarian bank.
