Aaargh dilemma!!

Hello board!

We will likely be heading out 29th but the husband is still trying to sort holidays so not booked yet... However, the dilemma is do we go back to Pamporovo and enjoy the fabulous snow as we haven't been for several years or do we go to borovets where we have never been and would like to go also!!

We would love to ski all of the runs in pamps as have never had the opportunity to do so but obviously having never been to Boro it is calling out with more km of piste and a different atmosphere!

Also, if we do decide on Boro does anyone know what the iglika palace is like as this would be the likely accommodation choice!

Many thanks on assisting with this dilemma

Rach

re: Aaargh dilemma!!

well when you say more km of pistes, take away the sitnyakovo ski way (5km) and the musala pathway (12km) which aren't 'proper' runs, then the amount of runs (km) isn't much more, compared to pamporovo? but only been to Boro when there wan't a lot of snow, and still amazing, even better with all this snow they got now

Stayed at Iglika about 4 years ago - nice and clean and normal/slightly better standard of hotel food. No problem staying there and good location.

Not going to get into a debate between the different resorts but in terms of Iglika Palace - it is absolutely fine and one of the better places to stay...

Stayed at the Iglika last year, behind the Rila and in a good location. Ask for 4* room if possible, slightly better with balcony etc- look back at reports on trip advisor for it- i posted a detailed one upon our return.
Excellent snow at the momment, go for it!

Hi Rach,
I know dbut stayed there with his family some years ago and he always reommends the Iglika, easy to get to and whenever we talk to anybody who is staying there they always speak highly of it.
Besides that we gotta meet-up before I retire.
