Looking for accomodation suggestions for a 3 bed aprt or 2 * 2 bed apts for next year. We normally ski in France however 4 of our party are new to skiing and I understand Bankso is suitable for beginnersI don't like to bus or transfer to lift as I like to Hotel- ski therefore if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your help

Bansko is actually an intermediate resort with only limited capacity for learners. There is one hotel you can ski into (and this only when the snow is good) - the Kempinski next to the gondola. Its a 5 star and very nice.re: Accomodation in Bansko very near Ski Lift
I can agree with Mat that Kempinski is the best hotel in Bansko and you can ski back into it most of the season, I did between 15 -23rd March this year, Ulen work hard at keeping the ski road open and should be a treat for beginners half way through their first week, I am a snowboarder but Bansko looks great to me as a beginners ski resort, met many a happy beginner there the 2 times visited, I book with Balkan holidays and it is very cheap. perun hotel 5 mins from gondola, has a reqular bus that runs from about 8 seems to be every 5 to 10 mins. really nice hotel, out side heated pool and hot tub, good atmosphere.re: Accomodation in Bansko very near Ski Lift
Hi Taffy,we just booked a 2 bed/3 room apt for next Feb in the Emerald Apart-Hotel (4 star), only 50m to the Gondola! So no painful walking in ski boots. This was a great price as the 'early bird' discount with Inghams applies until the main brochure is released in a few weeks time. not stayed at Bansko before but after Borovets this year we can't wait to get our ski's on.

Id say Guinness, had no problem with it, everything really nice.About 5 mins from the lift
