Hey everybody, i visited Borovets 2 years ago in January and have to say was rather disappointed with the conditions and amount of runs that were open. Also we booked with Inghams but were not overly impressed with their services either.
Soooo... my question to any locals, i know we can't control the weather, but when is the best time to visit Borovets to have good snow and majority of the runs open? Also.... would there be any recommendations on any of the other tour operators to travel ...

** sorry i meant to add that i would like to return as i thought it was a lovely little resort, and with better snow like it appears to have now, it would contribute to a much better holiday! :-)
yes can be hit and miss the snow conditions, i always go feb and have great time but local instrutor keps telling me early march is fab time to go to boroves
I was there a couple of weeks back, and we discussed the snow with our instructor who said that the best time to go by far is early March. She said that Feb is the highest snow fall, but the conditions are treacherous, regularly dipping to -20, but that in March there is still plenty of snow to ski on without the horrednous weather. We will be going back next year and will be going in early March.
