Hi - hope someone / anyone can help!We are off to Pamporovo on Sunday, staying @ the Hotel Pamporovo. If anyone has any tops tips of things to do / places to eat & drink etc I'd really appreciate it! Also any tips on where not to go / eat etc would be just as useful!
If anyone has a snow report too - that would be great! Need to know that there's some fresh powder to cushion my fall(s)!!
If anyone has just returned - what are the conditions like at the moment??

I have just spoken on the phone to Steve in the Snowshack at Pamporovo and he said the snow conditions are perfect. Loads of snow has fallen over he past few days and all runs are in tip-top condition.
Pamporovo hotel is an excellent choice and there is a bowling alley in-house that is well woth a visit. Depending on what you like to do, the hub of all the action is centred mainly around the hotels Perelik and Morgavets where you will find BJ's nightclub and the White Hart. ...

Both have a great atmosphere, and don't close till around 4am. Daks bar is found at the back of the Perelik and you will find more locals there all having a great time.
Eating on the slopes I would recommend Spiders at the middle station. Good food and service. Eating out try the Taverna in the Perelik. Excellent food and huge menu. Elsewhere the White House is worth a visit, you will see it on your way to the slopes.
For Apri Ski pop into the Markony just by the entrance to the slopes. Great atmosphere once again.

Nearly three weeks since we were there but the Hotel is very nice - good sized rooms, clean bathrooms with hairdryers etc. (use the showers early on in the evening as they cool down by about 6ish)
I always went for the cakes and pastries at breakfast but the rest of the family had the hot breakfast.
Dinner at night gets a bit boring after about three nights but the soup and salads are nice.
Pizzas at the Whit Hart are great value.
The restaurant opposite the White House is ...

We went to the Chermortoya (or somthing like that), its up the hill from the White House, for an aniversary meal and that was great fun (pigs roasting by the fire etc.) and cost us less than £25 with starters, wine and after dinner drinks for two.
The Snezanka restaurant at the Top station (in the Tower) is excellent for lunch, bit more expensive than the little hut type places but the pizzas are big enough for two and its very cheap compared to eating out in the UK.
You'll have a fantastic time, we are now planning a summer break in Bulgaria.

There's going to be 4 of us - i'll be the one looking tres hungover as I fly back from watching Scotland vs England in the Six Nations that same morning into LHR then hot-foot it over to LGW!! Look forward to meeting you over plenty more I'm SO excited!
