Advice needed please!

hello, does anybody know if we need to bring passport size photo's for the lift pass or with them being pre booked are they already ready when i get there? Also ive saw a few ppl comment about a queue for the gondola or getting a taxi up just not sure what this is? As you can probably tell we are complete novices and any advice in general would be appreciated Cheers

I guess you mean Bansko? to my knowledge, went last week, no id photo required, lift queue for gondola to take you up to the ski area can be long on first day as everyone gets passes and gear sorted, if you have kids and want to avoid the long wait one to two hours on first day you can take a taxi up to ski area cost 60 Lev ( 2.2 lev to the pound) or organize a lift with "earlybird" through this forum see 'nightmuffy' or steve? others will give you better info.

Photo if needed for 6 day pass will be taken by webcam at gondola station, no worries....Pre-booked passes do not have photos...
Queuing is going to be bad this week, but after that the numbers in resort will fall back to a reasonable level, and you should be ok...

Where going to borovets on the 20th no kids staying at the hotel flora any good? we have booked lessons also so are we best goin up to ski area with the group? Thanks for ur replies so far.

Hi Craig- Floras a fine hotel, nice bar downstairs and a small pool- good spa centre for a massage if you have aches & Pains!
Its near the Gondola so ideal once your group starts using this.
You will probably meet up with your group at the ski depot (assuming its Borosports), the first morning and then depending upon where you are skiing, make arrangements though most usually meet up after collecting ther skis etc.
