i take it everywhere is pretty close, stayin in the snejanka, was hoping there would be a good bar in there to get started

from one end of pamp to other is only a 20 min walk the white house and belfry have mini buses and for the price of a drink will run you anywhere.the white hart is central so it gets busiest. if your walking get torches the lightings poor

Theres also a nice disco in smolyan town. Never met a tourist there, and the prices are very low on beer and drinks. The name of the disco is "Topstars" and its packed every thursday, friday and saturday. A good place to go if you wanna try out a local disco and meet some locals.

There is a bar in the lobby of Snezhanka, but also if you go outside and round to the right - is Daks bar. An excellent place to start and end your evening.

This might sound like a really rubbish qiestion (suppose it is really) but I fly out there tomorrow and have hot the point of packing where I have no idea what to take for the night time...we're planning on going out every night for a few beers so whats best to take? is it casual or what?

Pub crawls - call me old fashioned, but I hate them.

Groups of drunken people bursting into places and taking them over with childish drinking games whilst others are enjoying a sensible sociable drink.

Fine if they keep it to one bar - but why upset every sensible drinker throughout the resort is beyond me!

Have been to pamps the last 4 yrs and agree the bar crawl is a gr8 laugh another place that hasn't been mentioned that is always good is BJ's (DJ's changed it's name not sure which it is). It is in the lobby of the Perelik which is opposite the Snezhanka. As someone else mentioned Daks is a good place to end your night and not too far to stagger home. All in all the night life is pretty good and am sure you will all have a ball

Troll, I've seen that club in Smolyan, what's the music like?

There's also the Underground on the right hand side of the main road heading to smolyan, about 1km past Studenets, heard its good but think its a bit Euro Trance for me. Bit too long in the tooth for glo sticks

Nooky - you need to behave now you are a skier!

Early supper followed by a glass of Port in the piano bar and bed by 9pm.

We skiers do have standards you know
