My wife and 2 kids are due to stay at the hotel Finlandia in Pamporovo on the 24th of this month but we've just found out that she's pregnant.
We're not sure if we should cancel or if she should come along and not ski. I'm a bit concerned about the food. I'm also a bit worried about what there is to do in Pamporovo if you don't ski during the day. Does anyone have any info/experience of the Finlandia? Can anyone offer any advice? Should we cancel and wait till next year? So many ...

we stayed in the Pamp. food was interesting, in the end we ate at the White Heart every night. food there was great. dont mean to sound gross but if i eat anything slightly iffy i crap my brains out three hours later, i was fine all week.
if shes not skiing theres not really much else to do.
few bowling alleys, not many shops and a few cold swimming pools.
she could always just sit and watch you fall over ?
Congragulations! Unfortunately you only go to Pamps to ski as there isn't much else to do there. But if your wife packs a good book the days will pass quite quickly and she can look forward to the stories of the days skiing.
We didn't start ski school until about 10.00 and we were normally back by 4.30, the latest was 5.30.
I wouldn't cancel as I am sure your other two children are so looking forward to it and your wife will enjoy seeing them enjoy themselves.

I actually saw a number of small babies in the hotel and once down by the ski school with there mothers of course so no doubt people do find something to do.
Don't cancel as you can all still enjoy yourselves just in different ways.
It's your call but a little light skiing isn't going to do any harm at this stage and might help her keep fit for the rigours of the labour I would have thought, why don't you speak to a doctor for advice?
There are pools in many of the hotels which you can use for a fee, and a few day trips aswell. Also ten pin bowling etc. She might not want to drink so much so I would think that would be the bigger problem.
I went to Pamp and stayed at the Pamp 20th-27th Dec and I was a non skiier whilst my husband was a snowboarder. I spent my days by getting up late, reading a book for a few hours and then waiting for hubbie to return. I went up to the slopes on xmas day and got stranded on chair lift. But by the end I did find it difficult due to lack of things to do. There is a trip to Plovdiv that the reps organise- i wanted to do that.
Have taken day out from skiing to sit with the injured and have been able to get them up the slopes on the lifts to meet with the rest of the groups for lunch. Then a little amble in the snow before taking the lift down again to another little restaurant for coffee. The coffee and bladder problems of pregnancy might be a problem but she can sit and enjoy the others skiing.I did.
