Advice please

Can anyone advise me please?
Leaving early March for Pamps. Already have tickets.
Just bought ski boots and they weigh 11kgs on their own. Only have a 20kg allowance.
Does ski carriage work for boots? and can I arrange it now or will it be too late?
How does everyone else take their boots and leave enough room for everything else?

woman behind us in the queue for checkin had boots in a bag - the walkabout lady took £17 from her and the boots went in to the ski carriage bit, it wasn't up for negociation! (with balkan btw!)

check it out with your tour company, probably best to have it sorted in advance than to be stung at departures...

We have never paid extra for boots.
Just check in as normal, they ask how many items of luggage and pass them through, although if your suitcases are overweight they may charge extra. Just hand them over at the same time as your suitcases, if you take them to the ski section they might charge you extra.

Thanks. Feel happier now.
Didn't own boots at point of booking hols or else would have sorted then.
Can't wait to try them out on proper snow! Hope it lasts for another fortnight.
