Hi everyone
I'm looking for some advice. I visit this site regularly but as yet never posted.
I'm going to borovets on wednesday for a few days. I'm worried that because my flight doesn't arrive in sofia until 22.00hrs, and i'll need to then get a cab to boro will it cost me a fortune? I'll need a return journey, is there any way i can do it cheaper?
i did try to book my hotel and transfer through this site but got no replies to my emails!
Could anyone also tell me roughly where ...

The Lion Hotel, is in the old village of Borovets (chamkoria) not in the area of the lifts etc, as the driver comes up from Samokov to Boro, he needs to follow the signs for the Lion also BOR/Edelweiss, it is signed so he should be ok. As for a taxi, it wont be cheap, if you have any contacts it would be better to get one from Boro to pick you up, if not, and i dread to suggest this as my last post got deleted, try 'the other side' put up a posting and i can give you a contact numberre: Advice required asap

The prices quoted appear to be about right, If you book a taxi they do watch to see if there are any delays and will generally wait for your flight
As for the hotel Lion it is very well known and well sign posted

when you get/if you get a taxi for the ride make sure on the front of the windscreen says prices and charges which should be 0.60ish stotinki per kilometer.
It is legal in Bulgaria to be a taxi only when providing the colour of your car as yellow.then you can place on the windscreen any price and rates you will fancy.Bingo.in effect if you enter the vehicle as a passenger you are aggreeing and have to pay.
You can find taxi cabs with displayed rates say 3.60 leva per kilometer ...
