Advice

Hi all, the season is nearly upon us Very Happy I have been skiing a few times before but I'm still confused over what is the best type of sunglasses and goggles. I've heard that green lenses are the better choice. Does anyone have advice on the subject. Also is it true there are new runs in Pamps and a new depot. Who uses which depot? we will be staying in the Prespa with Balken. Happy skiing all.

re: Advice

Loads of debate on this one. I take both goggles are best for when it snows and when it is nice a sunny just make do with my shades. Make sure they are 100% UVA. Yes there are 2 depots now in resort dont think their are any new runs though.

re: Advice

a good pair of goggles for when the snows heavey, most people use orange lenses, but also bout a clear lens for mine as i din't like the orange colour.
as for sunglasses they are a must as you look a total dork with goggles on when it's sunny, plus you dont get a tan beard.

I agree with others shades in sun and goggles in snow. I prefer yellow and hated red.

But just google it - from http://breakthroughplus.com/

There are two types of people on the planet – those who see better through yellow lenses and those who don’t.

Find out which one you are through trial and error. Check out each pair you are interested in at the ski shop by looking at a bright spot on the snow outside. Yellow lenses work by brightening up everything, other colored lenses work ...

Find out which one you are through trial and error. Check out each pair you are interested in at the ski shop by looking at a bright spot on the snow outside. Yellow lenses work by brightening up everything, other colored lenses work by giving you more contrast.

If you see better out of non-yellow lenses, then red or rose colored lenses will often be the best for you. But also check out the gray, green, and other colors. If you are a yellow lens person, by all means stick with them.

re: Advice

I tend to go for yellow goggles, as it brighten the view while it is snowing. I only wear goggels when it snows, sunglasses all other times.
