The fact it is a visa electron rather than just an electron should also leave you with no worries. Beware though that not all machines may be working, better to bring some GBP or Euro with you to be on the safe side
i would take money with you. The exchange rate will not be that significant anyway. It will give you peace of mind. Last week in Pamporovo every atm was out of order from the sat to the wed. On the final day only one was working and had big queues. Bring some Bank of england notes and you cant go wrong. Stop stressing the sessions just begining
Sam,
I went to Pamporova about a month ago and the cash machines were hardly ever working. They are filled up about once a week, so when they have money in them everyone needs it.
When I went, I was able to withdraw money from a supermarket.
He we always use the ATMS there are several in the resort including one inside the Rila.
The rate we got on the week commencing 5/02/06 was between 2.85 to 2.89
which is stacks better than the exchanges and means you dont have to carry a load of money
hope this helps.
we used a nationwide visa
