You payed in the supermarket for a pint lager, light or dark around 25 to 30 cents,
in the bars the pint is around 2,50 lev may be cheaper most is light or lager beer, only a small number of bars sales dark one.

4 lev for a pint in the samakov hotel last year, if you looking for a really cheep beer look out for happy hours and buy 1 get 1 free deals as in the buzz bar last year.
