Allocated on arrival

Has anyone else done an allocated on arrival with Balkan, for a 3* accomodation? and if so how did it work out?

Hi, we did a min 2* last year and ended up at the Rozhen Sad

Were doing a min 3* this time. All the 3*s look ok. Gota be better than the Rozhen Very Happy

Suzanne as long as you don not expect top notch accomadtion you will be fine. Some of the 3* can be basic. If you want a good hotel you need to look at 4* and above. Although they are not the same as in the uk.

The Rozhen, though only a 2* was ok. Basic but clean. Had Breakfast but gave the evening meal a miss. The restaurants are so cheap to eat in, might as well take advantage !

Didn't spend much time in the room! Booze

Rooms are just to sleep in. Ski all day, drink all night. Only spend few hours sleeping. Quality of the hotel is very low on my worries. As long as the people are nice and the skiing is good im happy.

When you consider how cheap it is, you don't actually do too bad for the money! Wherever you are staying. Wink

We did this and ended up in the zora basic but clean and nice! Would def do it again!

The one 3 star I would advise against is the Bor, all the others seem fine.
