Its incredibly warm and sunny today and I don't think the snow will last on the lower slopes more than another day or two. I'd say see what there is in a glacier resort like Tignesre: Am i daft to book bansko for next weeek?...

Well Borovets was water skiing this afternoon and Les Deux Alpes is closed today because of too much new snow - and it has a glacier, skiing at 3600 metres and cheap flights from the UK. I'm just calling it as it is.re: Am i daft to book bansko for next weeek?...
Deux alpes looks like a winner. Definately a bit warm in bulgaria at the mo.

Light rain in Bansko today, still colder on top but only 0 - 3 degrees... Forecast getting colder after weekend with snow showers towards middle of week... Yesterday temps remained low even with the sunshine and snow was not overly effected...
But im sure the snow is deteriating as snow is bound to do, especially at the end of March...
Just heard 30cm due in Banff, v cold, and more due...
Why not go there ?? or Japan, i hear they are getting a good dump as well, or even Alaska ?? ...

I know it's been a bit warmer this weekend and it's been raining a bit, hopefully it will stop!! Guess you have to expect the weather to get a bit warmer etc...as it is the end of March but fingers crossed it snows a bit more soon!re: Am i daft to book bansko for next weeek?...
Warm today, sun out as wellThe piste still looks superb, if a little glassy at the end of the day. Clear skies tonight and falling tempertures.
The thaw has definately set in, in the town, snow disappearing quickly, but hey !! its nearly April
Going up tomorrow to have a skid with some friends from Boro, will see how it is then
