I went to Andorra (Arinsal) last year with GF and kid, went 30 Dec for a week. No snow fall but resort worked wonders with artificial, although not all runs open. Family life was good and the hotel we chose was a great crack (Irishism by the way)!

Soldeu is a must - huge ski area. Also great bars and night life. Stay sport hotel if you can get into it.

Yea, i agree with soldeu, went there 3 years ago (we actually stayed in the tiny village next door who's name escapes me right now!) It was brilliant, massive ski area and great nightlife (also an irishman - hence you can trust me when i say the bars are up to scratch!)

It was good'n cheap but not particularly for booze or food and certainly doesnt compare with the likes of Bulgaria in the value for money stakes.

I also agree with the Forrest Nookie above when he says about Pas de la ...

I also agree with the Forrest Nookie above when he says about Pas de la Cassa > bit of a dump, more like an 18-30's holiday than a skiing one.

re: Andora

Hated it - no atmosphere - dreadful instructor - and just motorway skiing.

I certainly would never go back.
