Been to Bulgaria for 5 years and much as we love it we would like to try something different next year. Any comments on either country would be great. I am interested in the best resorts for skiing and value for money. I am aware it will be more expensive to eat and drink but would like to hear from anyone who has been and has a rough idea of typical costs, best resorts etc.

Borovets was more expensive this year, prices of food and drink were the same as home in some places, cheaper in others. Still a great holiday for anyone thinking of going.

My tip would be Italy.Take a look at La Thuile - brilliant.

Agree with Pete about the skiiing in La Thuile,dont know much about the resort as we skied it on an away day from Courmayeurre: Andorra or Italy
Definitely Italy. Try Bradonecchia, great place.Much, much, much, much better than Bulgaria.

Take my advice and go to ITALY. You wont be dissapointed!! FANTASTICO!!
